Brad began his career of assisting others upon entrance to the United States Army in 1985 as a Combat Medic. Over his 12 year career he had assignments which included the 82nd Airborne Division, the US Army Rangers and the 18th Airborne Corps Long Range Surveillance Company (LRSC). Brad successfully completed extensive training in Basic Trauma Life Support as well as Advanced Trauma Life Support. His training also included the studies of Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency in soldiers and their families, Combat Stress and the Psychology of Combat Stress related injuries, to include Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD). Prior to Brad leaving the Army under an Honorable Discharge he participated in many worldwide deployments, to include combat operations in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. His expertise, professionalism and commitment to his unit, his soldiers and their families was reflected through the numerous awards and medals presented to Brad throughout his career.
Upon leaving the military Brad moved to Atlanta Georgia and created SafePassage Adolescent Services (SAS). The mission of SAS was to assist families who were dealing with troubled teens by providing safe and secure transport for these adolescents to specialized treatment programs throughout the United States. Over the next few years Brad expanded and grew SAS to be one of the most successful groups in the country to locate and recover runaway / missing children while providing safe and secure transport for troubled adolescents. After seeing the need to provide assistance to adults, as well as adolescents, Brad left SAS to form the Bradley Intervention Center; a group dedicated to assisting families who’s loved ones, adolescent or adult, are struggling with addiction and / or behavioral issues. Over the past decade Brad and his groups have helped hundreds of families by providing treatment referrals and placement, conducting family interventions, monitoring progress while in treatment and providing recommendations for after care or transitional programs through our Care Management services.
As a testament to his knowledge, dedication and experience Brad has been interviewed by several print and news media outlets across the country, presented at national conferences for a variety of audiences and has appeared on national news programs such as The O’Reilly Factor, Fox News, and Catherine Crier Court TV.
